At Eligo, we are passionate about developing new drugs to address unmet medical needs!
Eligo is a 5-year-old biotech, spun off from MIT and Rockefeller University, and based in Paris.
Eligo has raised more than 20 million euros from leading investors from Silicon Valley and France to develop next-generation drugs based on CRISPR and the genetic engineering of bacteria and their viruses to tackle unmet medical needs, such as antibiotic-resistance and diseases associated with the microbiome.
Eligo has been elected by the World Economic Forum as one of the 30 most innovative companies in the World, has received a number of other awards, and has been featured in a number of international scientific and larger audience media (Nature Biotechnology, The New York Times, BBC, The Economist, Science, etc.)
Since its inception, Eligo has attracted the best talents from all over the world with more than 35 Eligonauts, all driven, passionate and striving to have an impact on the world by applying cutting-edge research.
From the beginning, Eligo has been developing an IP strategy to support its promising technology and reach the market with a strong competitive advantage. With both exclusive licenses on pioneering works in the field and a growing internal patent portfolio, we are looking for a creative, passionate and ambitious patent engineer to strengthen and to expand our patent portfolio to become a world leader in the microbiome field.
Working hand in hand with Eligo Head of IP, scientists and management, your mission is to help translate the exciting inventions and discoveries being made at Eligo into a strong patent portfolio.

Since the microbiome, CRISPR and bacteriophage fields are evolving rapidly, an integral part of your mission is to follow the science and inventions being developed in these fields and therefore putting Eligo’s inventions in the best possible position.
