— YOUR MISSION —

To support Eligo’s fast growth and exciting developments, we are looking for a talented, driven, and inspiring leader to take our organization’s operations to the next level.

Your mission will be to provide management, professional, and operational support across Eligo, with an emphasis on operational efficiency and effectiveness, organization, corporate affairs, and people development.

 

Corporate Operations: Your mission will be to be an efficient executor to support daily corporate operations andbut also a strategic advisor, internal consultant, and change agent to support and/or lead initiatives for optimizing organizational effectiveness.

People Operations: Our People (the Eligonauts) are central to our success and as our first-ever People person, you’ll be critical to ensuring they thrive (talent development, culture, performance management, recruitment, policies, etc.).

— RESPONSIBILITIES —

1. People operations

Talent attraction and acquisition

  • Manage future recruiters, supervise recruitment processes, and sometimes directly hunt candidates yourself, so that we can keep hiring and retaining outstanding people 

Employee experience and engagement

  • Be fully responsible for all HR-related matters, building on our internal processes for on-boarding, organization, training, culture, recruitment, compensation policy, performance management, and employment legislation, so that every interaction is of the highest quality
  • Use employee insights and feedback to guide the business, so that resulting actions lead to high team engagement and commitment
  • Promote Eligo’s culture, values, and employer branding internally and externally

Learning and development

  • Coach and counsel People at all levels within Eligo
  • Ensure that our People have access to great growth and learning opportunities to enable them to achieve their goals at Eligo

Support and drive growth

  • Function as a strategic business advisor to the CEO regarding key organizational and management issues
  • Own Eligo People Strategy and be responsible for its implementation

2. Corporate operations

Organizational strategist

  • Constantly listen to and monitor organizational efficiency
  • Diagnose frictions and dysfunctions
  • (Re)define and develop organizational strategy and processes

Legal, Finance, and Admin

  • Supervise and manage all cross-functional financial activities related to purchases, budgeting, and managerial accounting (with the help of an external Financial Consultant and with the Office Manager as a Direct Report)
  • Coordinate investor relations for board meetings and shareholder annual meetings
  • Coordinate legal affairs and be point-of-contact for external counsels

Communication

    • Coordinate internal communication plans and processes
    • Support the CEO and coordinate external communication activities (media interviews, relations with journalists, website updates, etc)

— PREFERRED EXPERIENCE —

The ideal candidate

  • The ideal candidate will be an amazing executor for operational matters and will bring expertise in setting direction in all phases of the organizational and talent lifecycle, including having a track record of building systems and culture to enable scalability.
  • Coming into a new role, s/he must be adept at quickly assessing the current state of Eligo, defining priorities, setting expectations, and proposing new ideas. This effort will need to address current organizational needs and anticipated future business, operations, and talent needs.
  • The ideal candidate will not only understand the systems, tools, and processes supporting corporate operations and talent management, but will also be a natural leader and an expert at change management, communications, execution, delivering on time, and leading through influence. Developing and setting up best-in-class organizational policies and programs will require a leader who is skilled at working with and through people and relationships to achieve organizational goals.
